Series 29 blue jays @ Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Next 7 games pose a great opportunity to gain some ground while playing against some bad teams (1 vs. CIN, 3 vs. LAA, 3 @ CHW)

Every team we play in August is over .500, with 2 series against Kansas City and 1 @ Minnesota.
Didn't we just go through some bad teams and go 1-5? I hope we woke up this series and blow them out but man this team this year is Jekyl and Hyde!

You literally just bitched about them taking Salazar out on his first start off the DL

It was 18 hours ago for Christ's sake, be consistent

Two different players, two different situations. I'd save Kluber's arm whenever possible. The game was already won.

Yeah, one guy came off the DL for an arm injury and another had a stiff neck.

Stop.

Yeah I'm sorry but anyone criticizing Tito for pulling Salazar after 7 innings in his first start since 1986 is just... well I mean... that's certainly that

One guy (Kluber) is a beast who we're going to rely heavily on in the postseason. Save him arm when you can, it's common sense...

He also threw way more pitches than Salazar did. Salazar who had his rehab starts and was reportedly ready to go 100+ pitches if needed.

I can't imagine a world where I'd be bitching after a 10-run win about something so dumb.

Tito wouldn't have let Kluber keep going if the injury actually was bothering him so do not worry. Kluber has a better stamina and more trustworthy than Salazar when it comes down to it in the long run. Also it was warm out so it's quite possible the stiff neck was actually feeling better. We do need a healthy Kluber if we wish to win the world series, which is why we may switch to a 6 man rotation in September, but for now, Kluber is fine. I don't trust Salazar to stay healthy and honestly Kluber will be just fine for the postseason since he will not nearly pitch as many innings as he did the last few seasons. Salazar just came back and was doing well, but in the 8th and 9th innings the plan is to get Miller and Allen work and they did just that. Allen didn't look sharp, hence why it is good to get him in. Shaw came in and kept the game tied until the guys could get an at bat again.

Salazar going 7 innings coming off the DL with velocity and attacking the strike zone. That is all we need from the starting pitchers every night. I actually didn't want him back out there another inning in some ways since he needs to be able to repeat this start again another night. (ps. I am agreeing with b00bie here on this one, so when that happens all arguments have become invalid)
