server crashes

i love this site and so do 6000 other people but its obvious the server cant hold up to the stress that said...
glen, ben, anyone

is there anything you would like us to do/anything you can do to keep the site up during high stress times?

maybe extend posting times to 1 minute instead of 30 seconds? what about an off site chat where people can chat instead of post about a game, how about a limit to the number of people signed on at a time, limit the number of posts per minute in game threads?


anything to keep this site up and running. its obvious the server is having problems, and thats not your fault, but damn it would be nice that we didnt see a server timeout error during the critical times of games.

while obviously i have been pushing for it, but if we could get an off site chat up that would allow everyone to talk and not be in the game thread I think it would do wonders

We are in the middle of another merger. It's hard since we have never manually moved a big website ourselves. We don't want to mess up and potentially lose alot of data.

The first move was a complete failure. We spent money on an upgrade that still cannot hold the traffic that we get.
