For all the crap that you hear about in NBA circles, the afternoon soaps have nothing on the NBA. Every city has a large ring that just cycles through every NBA team that comes into town. Sometimes the funtime circles interwine with the inside circles. It becomes too much to digest and make sense of a certain point. Nothing surprises at this point.

Also, why is this not being reported by any news outlets? And by news outlets I mean ESPN. Shouldn't this be a pretty big fucking story? Cavs and Wizards are already a rivalry, what's gonna happen when these two step on the court together? WTF

I think you guys are missing the point here.

This is a win/win for Arenas

Now, he doesnt have to marry this girl, or almost marry this girl like Richard Jefferson. He has the girlfriend-press he needed to remain in the closet, and it was free. No engagement ring, no family travel bills.

The NBA fans are so busy wondering why he "reportedly" is wifed-up with a NBA groupie, that they dont see the real object of his desire.

I don't care enough to check it out, but given Gilbert's weird on & off relationship with his "fiance" and the fact this happened back in March, I wonder if they were even seeing each other at the time.
