been talking with my buddy in my league. trying o get rid of MJD. he just hasn't done anything for me yet.

I give: Jones - Drew / Boldin

I receive: S Jackson / Greg Jennings

I am week at RBs. My other running backs are as follows: Jones - Drew, Brandon Jackson, Jamaal Charles, Jerome Harrison, Felix Jones and LT. My receivers are Boldin, Sims-Walker, Collie, Santannna Moss, and Steve Bresten.

Should I give Drew a couple more weeks and see how he does or shoula I get rid of him. I wasted the 3rd pick in the draft to get him. Should have took Gore with that pick.

Thoughs?

I'd do it. Honestly, the difference between MJD and SJax is pretty negligible but Jennings is in a much better situation than Boldin is.

MoJo Drew and Boldin will never have a lower combined value than they do right now. Both players are coming off abnormally bad games.

I'd wait a week and see if the guy backs away from both Drew and Boldin... if you really want Jackson (bottom of the top ten RB in my book) over Drew (top five), you shouldn't be giving up Boldin (top 15 WR) so close in expected production to Jennings (bottom of the top ten WR).

I just font know about drews ankle. I took him third overall and passed up on gore. I will five mjd. A cuple more weeks. To see if he starts to produce..

Okay. My buddy and I have been talking trades all afternoon and we narrowed it down to this:

(we are only in a 8 team league so that's why the rosters are so deep)

I give: Jones - Drew / Austin / Charles
I receive: Steven Jackson / Bradshaw / Steve Smith (Giants)

WHY FOR ME: I do this mainly to greatly improve my RB depth. I'm hesitant to give up Austin but I get a 2nd tier WR in Smith. I'm worried about MJD's knee and he hasn't produced as of late. I really like Jackson and Bradshaw is basically the starter now especially since Jacobs has just requested to be traded. So now my team looks like this:

QB: Schaub / Vick
RB: Jackson / Bradshaw / Brandon Jackson / LT / Jerome Harrison / Felix Jones
WR: Boldin / Sims-Walker / Steve Smith / Santana Moss / Steve Breston / Austin Collie
RB / WR flex: Brandon Jackson
TE: Winslow
K: Jay Feeley
Def: Baltimore

I think that's a pretty solid team if I make go through with this trade. I greatly improve my RB depth now and I have bodies if I need to make a move to strengthen my WR core.

I sent my buddy a trade proposal he will probably accept it.

Thoughts? Am I getting ripped off or no?

In my opinon...Hell Yes your getting ripped off. Miles Austin is a guy you just don't trade.

what about just Jones - Drew / Charles for Jackson / CJ Spiller? is that a fair trade?

what about Drew's knee though? that is concerning to me.

If you got the bench room go pick up his backup. Whoever that is hahah.

Dude you arent even weak at running back what the hell are you talking about?

Man I'm upset. a couple days ago I sent my buddy this proposal:

Jones - Drew / Austin / Charles for
Stephen Jackson / Greg Jennings / Bradshaw

I didn't want my friend to accept it. I didn't have a chancke e to tell my friend not to accept it since I was working all of yesterday. Anyhow, the deal is finalized today at like 7:30. If we reverse the deal will it be in effect for Sunday or will it have to wait a week.

thanks.

I didn't want my friend to accept it. I know I got raped in this deal that is why I didn't want it to go through. I forgot I sent it to him in the first place. I'm not sure why you were in such a hurry to trade for a back who has no TD's this year and 4 TD's in his last 17 games. Jackson's stock has been destroyed since '06 to the point that it's laughable. Another year or two and it'll be LJ in Kansas City all over again... all they need is a fast replacement back to nudge him out.

Also, it seems like you traded players with lower average draft positions, essentially trading down in multiple rounds. There is a point in a fantasy season when you have to cut losses and deal a player for a guy who was seen as a much later pick on draft day, ignoring their pre-season rankings. Week 3 is not that time and Jones-Drew and Austin are not those players.

I would keep Austin, him and Andre Johnson are the best FF WR in my opinion.

and MJD is better than Steven Jackson as cam said, no TD's.

I have never drafted Steven Jackson nor will I ever.

I'm currently trading Moreno for Gates. Moreno is my 3rd or 4th back depending on matchup. Plus his schedule gets tough and Denver seems to be a passing offense. My TE is weak. Gates and Clark are the tops, by far. I feel like I am trading a surplus, low level tier RB for top flight TE. Even trade. swapping 4th rounders essential. Trying to get a WR added in.
