looks cool. I was on the site for like 10 minutes before I noticed the bar.. and that only happened because I saw the button that looks like the symbol for a tactical nuke in cod:mw2.Hahah

Prior experience with CometChat means the site will be slower loading. It sticks an application into your browser whether you want it there or not. Or maybe there is a way to delete it if you don't want it? Maybe it's been improved recently. Right now I can't find a way to make it go away.
It also seems to log you into the CometChat servers automatically when you log into this site.
I'll be honest, I don't like this new chat since servers with Comet will receive data on your browsing. If there is at least a way to log out of CometChat without logging out of the forums, please find this out and inform. Thanks.
Okay; I see it's embedded in the code of the site. It also seems to be much better than in prior experience as the site doesn't seem to be any slower because of it. Comet has improved from what I can tell. I still think there should be a way to log out of it though.

ehh I don't really like that feature on the bottom of the screen. I hope there is a way to turn it off.

Yeah, if there is a way to disable the chat bar on the bottom of the page I wouldn't mind that.
It doesn't bother me when I am at home, but at work I can't load RCF anymore. The site just seems to freeze if I try to scroll down. The problem started happening right after the bar was introduced.

If you want to disable CometChat, a quick & dirty way is just to scroll to the bottom of the page to the drop-down box where you see RCF 2.0 Style. Select Mobile Skin or Mobile Skin 2 from the list and you will see the mobile version of RCF with no CometChat. You can always toggle back to the regular non-mobile style by scrolling down to the same place and clicking on "Normal Version."

Yep, same here. The bar causes my window to lock at work whenever I try to scroll. It's a great feature, but being able to toggle it off so I can check the site at work would be fantastic. I'd just set it to mobile format but it makes my eyes bleed to look at that mode on a computer.
