I couldn't agree more with Jason Lloyd. The game was close early when the Cavs offense attacked the basket and took threes when that was the open play. Once they started getting into panic mode and jacking up contested threes, the game got away from them. There was a stretch where Okoro got the hot hand and they force fed him a few open looks from three. That's fine, ride a hot hand, but take what's there.
Unfortunately, our role players shoot much better in Cleveland than on the road. The path to a road victory will be chipping away and taking what the defense gives you. Of course I also agree with everything he said about pairing Merrill with Donovan. Lloyd is mirroring my statements from Sunday here.
