So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was honestly surprised they got what they got for Clarkson. Nice enough guy from what some media members said, but I couldn't stand his game for this particular team. Can't tell you how many times I yelled at the screen... "Pass the damn ball!"

He's doing his job well for Utah so far.

Not having him is directly gonna lead to some losses. Like last night, I think. Porter Jr. isn't ready for the primary scorer role at all.

FWIW, I thought he was valuable to the Cavs because they had a lot of players on their second unit who could not break down the defense and put the ball in the hole.

The reason he didn't pass much was because there was nobody else who had as good a chance to score as he did. Nance, Henson, Delly - you want those guys shooting?

When the pass was there he passed the ball. But when the shot clock was down to five and we had nothing going the ball went to Jordan to take the shot and he bailed us out of a lot of short shot clocks with buzzer beaters that nobody else in that second unit could have made.

If Jordan Clarkson was 21, this thread would have been titled "Collin Sexton | The Young Bull"

You do the whiteside deal if there is a first rounder in there, and you move love, same thing. Without Love , Whiteside is not enough to move the needle, especially since our guards can't pass in context of an offense. Whiteside is playing with an elite point guard and an elite shooting guard, who between them dished 14 dimes in the last game. Our guards have done well to combine for 5 assists in a game..

Of course this has been aided by Utah playing a weak schedule in those 7 games. One winning team.

Which, well, I guess it's hard currently to have a tough schedule considering a a fairly sizable majority of the league is made up of losing teams currently.

17 of 29 teams have losing records. That's pretty bad. Product is not good atm.

Anyway, he's been good for Utah.

I could see the Cavs moving Whiteside on to a 3rd team if they do trade Love to Portland. It will be a way of getting the assets they want back for Love and not lose the cap space for future trades. Maybe some second round picks get moved to Portland to make them comfortable giving up a 1st round pick.

Haves and have nots. There are more teams than usually projected with 50+ wins. However, OKC is the only team projected in the 40's. That means I think the first round of the playoffs is going to be pretty boring.

so far his stats are basically identical with his Cavs stats apart from the crap ft%
