Hello everyone.

At some point next season im planning on flying accross the atlantic and going to see my beloved cavs ! I don't know much about Cleveland as a city or how the cavs sell their tickets etc.

So i wan wondering if anyone could offer my some advice on the subject, ideally i'd love to go to a play-off game next season, although im not sure if there easily availible or whether im better off going to a regular season game.

Also, it would be much appreciated if anyone knew any decent hotels i would be able to stay in ?

Many thanks

LondonCav (Jack)

Obviously, there is ticketcity: http://www.ticketcity.com/

Are you are talking about the playoffs this season (beginning in a couple months)?

There are many ways to secure Cavs tickets. Believe it or not, I've had luck with scalpers near the arena. For a playoff game, it might be nice to know you have the tickets in your hands as you head to the arena though. You can even check sites like ebay or craigslist.

Regarding lodging....someone local to Cleveland should respond. Can't go wrong with a site like priceline.com or any of the travel sites (travelocity, orbitz, etc). You can find a place near the arena as well.

Thanks for the reply, i would love to go to a playoff game this season although i would need to book the time off work and they wouldn't be very happy lol !

I would use flashseats to get your tickets. Season ticket holders selling their tickets through a company started byt the Cavs owner. There is 0 risk using Flasgh seats.

Ron- I don't think flashseat users are able to sell via the site any more. Due to ticketmaster being idiots. You are only able to transfer the seats.

LondonCav- Stay at the Marriott or Hyatt downtown. There are other hotels that might be cheaper but those are the best unless you want first rate then stay at the Ritzcarlton. You are looking at about $140 to stay downtown.

As for tickets you have a boatload of options. As CCF stated www.ticketcity.com is terrific. Also my suggestion would be to post on this site the time you are coming over here. It is hard to predict when you would be able to goto a playoff game if you have to plan it out due to the weird schedule the NBA has when they set playoff games. That said, I have extra playoff tickets and I could sell them to you. I honestly though think your best bet is to plan for a regular season game.

Good luck to you!

Cheers
