How great would it be to sign this guy and maybe Lee from the Brewers??

soriano should be a must. put him at second. then go after a left fieder but thats not a most.

It would be great, but we really don't need them.. Yes we defintely need righty hitter, but Garko has shown that he has the ability to do that.. But, even still, we need a good right handed bat in right field..

I also think Peralata needs to be traded for a good defensive SS and some pitching...

Our offense wasn't the problem our defense was...

We need a guy like Juan Pierre at the top of the lineup, to let Grady bat 3rd..

This would be fine by me:

LF - Juan Pierre
2B - Joe Inglett
CF - Grady Sizemore
DH - Travis Hafner
1B - Victor Martinez
RF - ???
3B - Andy Marte or Kevin Kouzmanoff
CT - Kelly Shoppach
SS - ???

After that, our starters are fine as well:

CC
Westbrook
Lee
Sowers
Byrd

I mean, our picthing played well down the stretch.. Especially Sowers and CC..

Our bullpen is where the money needs to be spent...

JOE INGETT???????? are u crazy, he is no starter.

crawford should want out of tampa. we should make a trade for him.

he has said he doesnt want to leave the Nationals...if he left, nobody would even go to the games anymore until they finish the new stadium.

Why am I crazy?

He's exactly what we need at second base: speed, good defensive skills and decent hitter...

We need A-Rod, thats who we need, oh and some pitching...lots of pitching.

You would really want someone like Pierre who has a .330 OBP leading off your lineup? That dude is a prototype 4th OF with inefficient stealing skills.

We're not getting any of these guys..they're going to use this nice run we put together with the young guys and use the no Hafner excuse and sign like three 35+ utility infielders again..

victor martinez has a better chance of beating tedd glenn in a race, then joe inglett does in turning a double play.

Tedd Glenn eh?

Carlos Lee got traded to the Rangers at the deadline, but he's been doing well even there. That would be my #1 choice. The guy has a good glove and is great from the plate. I wouldn't mind Soriano either but if I had a choice, it would be Lee. Soriano is a liability on defense.
