Suns @ Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
hubie, shut the hell up you have called it a great call several times today

thats not why it was called a charge pioneer. the ref clearly didnt point to the circle under the basket, and im not sure he was in it, i thought intionally he was but was stepping out when he was hit

Good thing the whole country is watching Drew Gooden put up 19 points, 12 rebounds on 60% shooting. Perfect timing.

At least we'll score over a hundred today.

I hate Hubie more than any other nba announcer, if Hubie was my grandpa I'd piss in his lemonade.

how many times have we had our smalls trying to guard thier bigs in the paint?

This is pathetic. Our players came to play, but our coach didn't come to coach. How can they get a switch on the pick and roll every time? Unreal. We have Boobie fronting Marion?!? Terrible. I guess that's what makes the Suns the Suns, but we got outcoached.

And that wraparound pass was the cherry on top :chuckles:

But we do need to keep Z in to grind it out in the halfcourt against them. We *cannot* run with them enough to beat them...that's what all teams try to do and they get flattened.
If you don't get Z in the post and take advantage of his strengths, Z has no place on the court. You have to want to use him: that includes not posting him up with Snow in there because there is no space to operate

Why we didn't win:

Hughes and Ilgauskas combined for 11 points...

Everybody else stepped their games up... Our two key guys can't do this if we want to win...

Gibson proved he should be starting...

Where was Varejao during the 4th?

Overmatched - like the rest of the NBA against Phoenix this year.

I know anything can happen in the Playoffs out West, but they get a ton of easy buckets and never seem to miss any open shots.

I think Hubie gets hard when he sees Z and Gooden on the floor... He just salivates over them when he announces a Cleveland game...

why didn't we play AV in teh 4th?

Another key stat... 4th quarter scoring:

24-13

We just couldn't score...

Their little spurts also made us play catch up the whole game...

Well hopefully this precludes next year, when Snow is pushed to the bench in favor of Gibson. Gibby shows flashes of being able to feed Z in the post a lot more effectively than Snow can. Hopefully it's not just a fluke.

I think Z should stay in the middle next year, and Snow could flourish as 6th man.

Phoenix is basically unstoppable...

They ALWAYS find the open man..their shooters can shoot it their finishers finish and they all play unselfish basketball thanks to their leader..

D'Antoni is a great coach..Mike Brown was just clueless as to how to stop this team..
