Helluva day for receivers.

Started all 3 plus Peyton and Jamaal Charles.

Just under 220 for that bunch

Nevermind Megatron :)

I don't care how much you hate the Steelers, losing a draft pick would be ridiculous.

It would be a 6th or a 7th I'm sure. I have no issue with it; especially if it gets him fired.

No. Having a bounty program warrants losing picks and huge fines (and in Payton's case, a suspension). Being in the field of play during a kickoff runback which nobody will ever be able to know if it was intentional and scooting back at the last second, in a game the Ravens won anyway, does not warrant that.

I'd give up our #1 if it means Tomlin gets fired.

Ref really blew that play, should have been an auto-td.

For the record, I doubt they end up stripping a pick anyways, but getting a 6th or 7th stripped is a slap on the risk.

Do you still think they should blow it up (rebuilding)? If you do, by all means fire Tomlin. But if you plan on handling it like the Celtics did and make a few more offseason moves via the draft and try to get one or two more runs (reloading), then you have to keep him. Either way, goodbye Haley.

Fire all the coaches and GM. Cut Woodley/Timmons/polamalu/Taylor. pay out Ben's deal into guaranteed money and add 4 years, total of 6/120 w/45 guaranteed but keep next two hits at around 10m each. trade Pouncey. Piece together a D for next year. Grab a WR in first round. I see aspects of this team that work and I'm probably unnaturally high on Bell. We need out of some of these defensive contracts but there's no reason we can't reload like the Colts. The line also is passable when big retard doesn't choke on the ball like a Primanti sandwich.

They look respectable but none of those guys on D are difference makers

That's too far. I could see a Haley firing, Polamalu releasing, even a Tomlin firing. I am also very high on Bell. There are definitely stronger needs than WR in the first. OL, LB, DE, CB, and S are all stronger question marks, especially since Brown has had such a strong year.

Something has to be done about those linebackers, I dunno if you read much about the salary cap but they count for 20+ million vs the cap next year. 1 of the 2 basically has to go....they can't keep rolling over cap hits to open money with guys that aren't that great. Woodley has a base of 8m next year, I'd ask for at least half of that back or cut him post June 1. Timmons has a base equally as awful. Those two contracts are so bad that we would lose cap money by outright cutting them at this point, but it's something that has to be considered. Cutting Troy and Ike saves us like 15million vs the cap. Here's the thing, you have an average and slow defense, and you have 4 guys that are done-zo taking up about 40m in 2014 cap room, no wonder we suck so bad.

I believe that Bell will figure out how to run more effectively, cause his YPC numbers are totally awful. His pass catching skills are great for a back, it's been many years since we had a multi-purpose(maybe ever?) back that can catch and run. The Steelers all time record for catches by a RB is only like 51, Bell already has 33. Also, that play on the goal line is just a bad rule. I understand making the ball dead when a helmet comes off so that a guy can't keep running, but he was clearly across the goal line and only technicality of the rule prevented a TD. That specific type of situation should be fixed in the rule book. Can you imagine if some guy was diving for a playoff game winning TD like that and obviously scored mere nano-seconds before his helmet came off? Would be insane.

I go WR early cause I'm planning on gutting the defense and want a 3 WR rotation of Brown, Wheaton, and Stud rookie WR X to use next year. I can see thinking otherwise if you don't plan on doing that. I just see teams like the Bears, or the Packers that just load up on skill position studs and generally have a level of success. say you can get one of Watkins, Evans or Lee, suddenly with Bell and maybe even miller we're loaded at the skill positions and having good talent there is the difference between Atlanta 2012 and Atlanta 2013.

If you're not impressed with our secondary already, I can't even tell you how bad it would look if you got rid of these two. I still think you go after the Steelers' two biggest needs essentially since the '05 team: CB and OL. The Steelers have been to two Super Bowl with an average-at-best cornerback game, and a bad to horrible offensive line. DeCastro hasn't been bad at guard this season, you can add Pouncey back next season. Imagine what a tackle like Matthews or Lewan could do for the Steelers' offense (hopefully one that isn't as counter-productive as Todd Haley's). I'm not so sure that there is any first-round corner talent. (No, seriously, someone help me out. Is there any first-round corner talent? ? Roby?) I think they should play it conservatively and add pieces while trimming some fat around the team. You think they should have a firesale. My guess is the Steelers' thought process is somewhere in the middle. Probably going to trim a lot of old players and shed payroll, build around Ben, Brown, and Bell, and plan on making the transition to a "cushioned rebuild".

i would really like to make it to a seahawks home game sometime.

There are a few stadiums I'd like to see a home game at.

In the NFL:

Seattle
Kansas City
Dallas
