For this year, potentially Weeden.

His system isn't predicated on a running QB, it's predicated on the talent he has. Eventually Weeden would have been phased out for a QB which suits his ideal attributes for the position.

Seriously, just because the Browns don't have the pieces to run Kelly's system right now doesn't mean the Browns didn't fuck up by not grabbing him. After a draft or 2 and getting some pieces Kelly would look awesome in Cleveland or anywhere to be honest. I wanted Kelly bad. Funny remembering the posts in the coaching thread about, "Fuck Kelly, the guy doesn't have integrity. Can't win with that!!!! I'll take Chud anyday."

And we were also wrongly thinking the same thing about Pete Carroll.

You literally have to compromise your integrity at least a bit to win a pro title. To put it another way, we needed Jim Brown to win our last championship.
