The trade downs have been smart. It's been the decisions after those trade downs that have hurt this franchise and set them back a few years.Yeah it's definitely been the trade downs which have prevented success for the organization.
This team isnt ready for a rookie QB. I am glad we are tanking and didnt take a QB, dont want to ruin another career like we did Couch. Let the team come together, let the receivers grow up some, then we can get our QB this draft or next.
Sorry to say we are worse off than many expansion teams.

The whining about it never gets old, of course.
You can't separate the trade downs and what the Browns did or didn't do with them. You can justify any misguided personnel decision that way. The end result is what matters, really.
