This is true. The fact that we managed to lose last year with probably the best Offensive and Defensive rookies in the NFL is just... ugh. Speaks on how bad Beck and Warriner are.

The secondary was very, very good. But just going off of what col said, just the defense alone isn't the best that we've seen since 2000. The Tressel title squad was better, and probably equal in the secondary alone.
Then you throw in this extremely mediocre offense...yea, it's probably not one of the 10 most talented teams since 2000 that we've had.
EDIT: But that said, it does show how hard they played and how much Urban coached this group up. Beating Michigan when Michigan was the far older, more experienced team means I'll still remember this season as a success.

Pretty silly to start talking about Penn State, but that's the age we live in.
Ohio State will be trolled mercilessly on every form of social media in existence and if you were an alien landing on earth with no prior knowledge you'd never guess that this program had the entirety of college football beneath its boot heel less than 2 years ago.
