So are you a police officer? If not you wouldn't know their protocol ...

ya for sure it's possible.... I suppose it's ultimately each departments decision

Quick question, do you also believe that we should stop interviewing the president? If a shift in message or accused hypocrisy is our litmus test, we should probably just cancel cable news altogether... (actually, not a bad idea)

Depends on your life experiences... many of these kids have never killed an animal , observed the process of something living and breathing ..bleeding and dying, ..possibly have never even fired a weapon... my opinion is kids that were raised around firearms and use firearms in daily living whether it's hunting or competition shooting ranges etc. have a lot more respect for a firearm and a lot more respect for human life...

I suppose there are some kids who fit that, but you made a pretty over the top generalization about kids who play videogames. Again, if that was really true, we should have tens of millions of shootings every single day.

Where in the hell did I say ALL kids?? .. I feel it's a very small percentage...and not all. video games , talking about the super VIOLENT ones. definitely believe there are some It effects
Obviously it's not all kids . you have to have a kid who has a grudge , has access to a weapon, has the balls to use it, the means to put it all together.... and is MESSED UP enough to actually go thru with it.. seems clear the kids who are "outcasts" are much more likely to engage in this

You just basically described a mentally unstable individual though. That person doesn't need a video game to set him over the top, nor a movie or TV show - if he's that MESSED UP, he already had it in his mind to do it.

There's plenty of very violent games and very violent movies. But they don't become the motive for a school shooting. That just comes from the sick individual.
 
Sitting here, I can think that I would run in the building and kick some ass and save lives, but man...if I heard that machine gun echoing through the hallways, I'd probably be petrified and not able to move.

No. The kid being a hypocrite there is just one example. He shouldn't be interviewed because he's a 17 year old kid who has a very limited understanding of the complex issues he's being paraded around to discuss. He uses his status as a kid and a victim to deflect any criticism of his ludicrous commentary. Good for the students for becoming politically active, and I truly mean that, but you can't take off the political activist hat and throw on the "I'm just a kid" hat real quick whenever you get criticized.
