The Gold is Golder: New uniforms to come?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So baby blue and gold?Gah.

Maybe they will look better on court like the black ones do. You’d have to assume they have a court to match them too.

Still puzzling.

They had a glorious opportunity to go for some 70's style shit with these.

Full CLEVELAND in the same font and this color scheme??? Would've been so fire. Font reminded me of this.

I neither like or dislike, we’ve had way worse. I won’t be buying it though, the city editions are just a money grab and don’t interest me. In fact I wish they’d just stop the whole concept of a new jersey every season

Does anyone know if the Cavs team shop are selling any of the authentic versions of the new uni’s?

Either underwhelming or ugly depending on how the top comes out

Don't care what anyone says......this tan and baby blue FUCKS. :chuckle:

The maroon shadow on the land is going to make it not work

Looks like shades of brown rather than maroon. I think the colors work, but it's not exactly anything people asked for.

I prefer this city jersey to some previous entries, but it's not all that inspired. Making every team create a new one every year is not sustainable, and usually they are a dozen mediocre to bad ones for every great jersey. I don't see the Cavs debuting a Red Rocks or Vice level adored city jersey any time soon.

As an aside, our wine jerseys looked really rich on the broadcasts against the LA teams. Still very plain, still don't like the gold*, but the wine color comes through well without feeling just like red.

*I don't think the answer is a more beige gold, but committing to a shiny metallic gold if that's what we're doing. Change the materials instead of flattening it out.

Ya technically green and pink "work" but it's not aesthetically pleasing.

You don't see a lot of brown and light blue anywhere, with reason. Subjective, but maroon and light blue is another "works on paper but doesn't look good".

Brown and gold push scheme in a one direction too far for light blue to make sense

Thing is, the City Jersey from last year was very adored. Unfortunately, the Cavs changed their color scheme and couldnt stick with the best jersey they've had in years. Still waiting for this throwback though, which more accurately matches our current scheme:
