The Gold is Golder: New uniforms to come?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Some are OK.

Boston, Phoenix is legit. A few are good

The statement uniforms? Boston is fine, I guess. I don't think they should ever use black though, kind of like the Lakers overusing the white uniforms. Some teams are so tradition-rich, they're kind of stuck. Phoenix I don't like at all. To each their own though.

At the end of the day, just uniforms.

All of those "statement" uniforms suck, outside of Philly's and maybe Denver's. Nike, as has been mentioned, has destroyed a lot of teams.

Philly would be solid with a better font.

Denver isn't terrible but is essentially a worse version of their yellow alts, which are my favorite jersey in the NBA.

Boston should stop having alternates. It never looks as good as their classic green and white. Phoenix is fine but boring. Their last jerseys seemed to be moving back toward the 90s look, but they keep missing IMO.

And yes, they are just uniforms, but uniforms are a big part of sports. It something that ties teams together, helps define generations of a franchise, and brings fan together. The look, the logo, the colors, and jersey... These should be points of pride. We should not only play like a great franchise, but look like one too. Unfortunately, Nike has taken the NBA, which has had its fair share of uniform issues, and tossed it into a blender of shit.

Agree on Denver and surprised on Philly. The font is the part I like. My main issue with the statement is, imo, as an alternate, they should be totally different from the road and home. The Cavs went totally different. It missed, but they tried. So many of these statement uniforms are just another variation of the home/road. Give me something totally out of the box.

As for the points of pride... I'll let the players worry about that since I don't have to wear that shit. And I will say this a out really bad unis: I actually think it does a better job of bridging gaps than good ones.

This black uniform seems like it is a practice uniform, or something the Cavs would have their Las Vegas Summer League team wear.

Personally think the Blazers is the best. That's the best way to do it, take a classic look and throw a modern spin on it.

Boston, Philly, Chicago.

The rest, and specifically the "New" ones made from scratch are pure shit.

Lots of NBA statement leaks are happening right now and they are all trash, including ours. Our identity is so muddled...

Yikes that is terrible on a Browns uniform level.

I think we legitimately have the worst ones. A couple others are close, but I wouldn't debate it.

I agree on Phoenix, I think those look great. I also like the new Pacers uni's. I also like our new white and wine's, but the black is atrocious if these images are real.

That’s actually a really good point. It does look like a practice/summer league jersey.

They've been doing it in soccer/football for years. This year, they've used the same template for the 3rd jersey of like 8 top-flight clubs.

It's almost an arrogant complacency - as if they're saying "we can do whatever we like and even if people don't like it, who gives a shit, we're Nike."

To be fair this is very common in soccer (European soccer at least) and all major companies do that.
It has actually been improving in the last like decade or so. There used to be a certaub amount of templates for all clubs to wear and they just switched colors.

I actually like lime green and so I like Minny's alternate. But their template is boring and their regular jerseys relying solely on blue and gray is dull and pointless. They did a solid job with the new logo but the uniforms leave a ton to be desired.
