I had specific reasons for not wanting to conulate the draft board with trades. and I am sorry explaining to 15 people in im's and such why you are lisitng a trade and they can not .. is not fun.

In fact you want to flaunt that your doing a trade When I was trying to work with you and let you know what might happen. so yeah you disregarding what I asked.. (not to post the trade information on your pick threads) is not amusing to me at all but its okay.


I have spent a lot of time putting this together and babysitting the draft for over a week.

Getting to do everything your way at the expense of everyone else is not having fun. and is a cop out retort that really holds no substance.

The draft process has like three rules. You find it fun disrupting the draft process I Get it. I find it fun to be fair and consistent for everyone to have fun.

Oh please... don't talk about whining when you threw a massive hissy fit before this all started claiming conspiracy that you were purposely being left out of this league when Rob and I took your hypothetical question about the Cavs choosing between LeBron/Kyrie and turned it into an idea to do an NBA re-draft. People were bending over backwards offering you a choice of any team just to stop the sulking. Now, I'm not minimizing your efforts to make this into what it is since then, but to say I spent 10 pages whining is ridiculous.

I had an opinion on giving autopicked guys the BPA that was different than yours.. I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was a dictatorship. But yes it is frustrating when certain players are targeted and then are given to an owner who doesn't even want them just bc they are BPA. I understand your position on that and know it's not a perfect system when not everyone complies with either being online to make picks or sending you a list. However, when two people agree to a trade to take place after the draft and both state they are not retracting on it no matter what anyone else offers then no... I really didn't see the massive deal with posting a depth chart reflecting what I'm expecting my finished product to look like. I was unaware that 15 people blew up your DM's about unfairness because they can't post about their trades.. so for that I apologize. To say I'm trying to do everything my way though at the expense of everyone else is a little over the top. It's NOT that serious, and truthfully kind of hypocritical considering this whole thing is all pretty much your way or the highway (threatening to veto trades, making a point you run the simulations and rosters, etc). Title of commissioner or not.

All in all, other than acting like I committed murder because I mentioned a Dunn/Gay trade, you've done a good job with this thing... so let's just move on. I see your point and hopefully you see mine. I won't post about the Dunn/Gay trade and we'll all settle it after the draft.

Now, whoever's up make your damn pick please.

I don't think I'll have enough time to stay current & caught up with this league, so before it gets to the point where people get annoyed with my inactivity, I'd like to gauge offers for my team.

If you'd like to take over my squad, maybe just quote this post & then @Tornicade can go about deciding who's fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to take over the Hawks.

On nba2k you can turn off injuries. I really would just prefer this to based off legit picks etc than random injuries

I mean, we can't really change the rules now can we? We're already at the end of the draft... If injuries were not a factor, I personally would've picked differently.

Reading the basketballgm Reddit, I've been curious if we'll be adhering to all the money factors as well such as coaching budget, scouting budget, team profit, owner demands, etc.

Sort of hoping we're not but obviously going with the will of the people and Commisioner

Also noticed, and it won't affect us in a five year league, but in some of these 50-100 year leagues, sometimes players randomly die and not from old age(those guys just retire) but from shit like falling out of a 13th floor window or being killed Clue style with a wrench in the study by Col. Mustard

I'm pretty sure we're supposed to be building teams that fit under the cap; but, I don't think anyone would run into that problem given how thin the last rounds have been.

For the record, I think a few more rounds of the draft would be a good thing. I know we're all excited to get the simulation started, but I'd like to pick a few more guys first.

It would be nice if we could get over this Cashius road bump sooner than later, and get this thing going again.
