Strus is such a smart player. Hats off to him for working on his game so much and spo for coaching him up to be such a smart player. He's a 3 point shooter who still contributes when his shot isn't falling. Not many of them around

A true 3 and Leap player.

Actall better all around game...better rebounder and passer for sure.

JR Smith could get hotter and hit tougher threes than Strus can because he was more athletic in how he could get his shots off and had a faster release.


But I still prefer guys who play smart like Strus all day and have more to their game.


Strus is good enough that even if he goes cold in the playoffs he'll still be a positive option.

Mainly 2 for the Brew, if I remember correctly. He puts that one out there a lot.

Strus has probably been our 3rd or even 2nd best player this season...if we are being honest. He also seems to have some leadership qualities. Phenomenal acquisition.

I can't stand up for JB right now, but Donovan didn't learn anything from the Knicks series. He can't seem to pass out of blitz still, and everyone is guarding him that way now. Force him to beat his head against a wall of defenders. Very willing to oblige.

They are all asking him to take all the shots and win the team the game and he can't really do it. He has a losing record doing it right now. Any time he goes cold at the end of the game, the game is over.

He doesn't appear to know how to get the ball to shooters on the perimeter at all. Strange thing to say about a guy 3rd in scoring, but I consider his play so far Bradley Beal esque. He isn't making anyone better.

Interestingly enough, it also helped to vindicate JB a bit for me. I saw him do more coaching in this game than I have all season. I’m not sure what to make of it, but it was a definite eyebrow raiser.
