There was a possession last night that was a thing of beauty. Zizic set a screen for Delly and his defender kept aggressively going around the screen while Zizic reset it 2,3,4 times. Delly just kept reversing and re-using the screens until he got free. Then Zizic rolled to the hoop and Delly fed it for the easy bucket. They should put that on a loop and keep it running on a screen in the locker at all times.

There was another pick and roll feed from Clarkson of all people, very nicely done.

Maybe Drew is starting to coach these guys up. I actually have zero problems with Drew's rotations lately. I hope he can find ways to keep Zizic in the mix after TT gets back, with Nance getting more time at the 4 in a big lineup.

I'd hope that the improved play of Nance and Zizic will convince the Cavs that TT can be moved without the team falling apart, and that we can acquire a valuable asset in return, whether that value is assigned to TT himself or to whatever contract we may take in return.

More positive in here than I thought it was going to be after the last game. I think Zizic's strengths right now are on the offensive side of the ball. he struggles to get on defense relative to the rest of the team, and he doesn't appear as effective thereabouts. But damn, is he ever good in the post. Love seeing his inside game, and players (surprisingly enough, Clarkson) who can aid it.

Just because hes played the last couple games doesn't mean Larry Drew has confidence . Zizic is a great layer and this makes me think Larry Drew is bad at defining NBA talent. He must not know basketball. Zizic is a fundemental player. His post to the game basket game is insane. He has a fundemental hook shot with the right hand, pump fakes and left handed hook shot. Oh yeah, he can shoot from 15-20 feet too. I could do a better job than Larry Drew coaching these Cavaliers. Dude, I should be a scout. I wanna go hunting.

Drew is the luckiest coach on earth because the previous coach was Lue. Drew is horrible, still he is a great improvement over the previous coach. Something that you can see very very rarely!

Before the last several games I would have agreed with you about Drew. But in just the past few games I have seen Zizic get decent minutes. At first Zizic and whomever he shared the court with all looked like fish out of water. Nobody seemed to have the slightest clue regarding where to be or what to do.

The last few games, starting with Delly, Zizic has been getting more involved on both ends of the floor with the guys around him starting to make better use of his screens and some 2 man actions. The ball handlers are at least looking to get him the ball even if they're only succeeding at a very low rate. It hasn't been much but it has been a quantum leap from where we were before with Zizic glued to the bench.

Big men like Zizic do take a longer time to develop but I've seen a few baby steps in the right direction and based on seeing other players trying to work together with Z I have to think this is coming at least in part from Drew.

The zillion dollar question is, will it continue when TT returns. I can only hope it does.

Larry Drew doesn't decide who gets traded. Koby and Dan do. And if they think the way the Cavs have been playing without TT is something they can accept, and they believe they can get something worthwhile for TT, they'll trade him.

Regardless of what lame-duck Drew thinks.

Reactions are a bit slow, but he isn't getting up to game speed on the bench. He needs reps.

He's open a lot and he's a big target. I'd like to see Nance and him get time together.
