Man he just ruined his final big chance at free agency. This guy is not a bad PG when his head is screwed on straight. The jmac we saw the year before last was an excellent PG. He had everything he wanted here, and then he just completely implodes. His defensive aptitude never returned after he separated his should late in his 1st season here ....he was tentative from that point forward ,,,just a shame. He just cost himself millions upon millions of dollars ...

I don't think anyone would give up something to get McInnis. He'll most likely get a veteran minimum contract. Sign and trades are usually done to give the FA player more money and a better contract.

McInnis did really kill his value last season. I haven't come across anything that has said a team has shown interest in him.

it is a sad chain of events. Andre Miller for Darius Miles, Darius Miles for Jeff McInnis, Jeff McInnis gone. so basically they traded away Andre Miller for some cap space this off season.

Yeah true, and to think they offered Magette instead of Dmiles. and we rejected it they pushed hard for us to take Magette but we made them give us Miles, but it worked out we got LeBron so i'm happy.

Itd be nice to have Andre Miller right now... But speaking of McInnis where do you think he'll end up? He'd a good fit for the Celtics with Pierce and Ricky Davis... just adding to the Celtics/Cavaliers rivalery. I think he's friends with Ricky D too they would always talk for a while when the Cavs played the Celtics I noticed, which would make a lot of sense, very similar personalities.

It's funny, this guy was wanting a 6-8 Million dollar contract during mid season, and now he is lucky to make even 2.

JMac is a bone head and I am thankful he is gone, I don't even care about getting anything in return for him, his left presents is enough trade back for me.

^Exactly. I think the Celtics are all biting their tongues after getting ball hog Walker back at the end of last year. The honeymoon was short and sweet when they got him back. They played hard at first but then reality set in. It would be hilarious to see McGinnis go in there and implode their team.

But I couldn't wish that on the Celtics, they're like America's Team.

I"ll second how sweet it would be to have Andre Miller here right about now though.
