The Browns signed the last of their 10 draft picks of 2006 Saturday when they inked receiver and third-round pick (78th overall) Travis Wilson to a four-year contract.

Wilson (6-feet-1, 213 pounds) finished his collegiate career with 105 receptions for 1,315 yards and 17 touchdowns in 42 games, including 17 starts as an Oklahoma Sooner. His 17 touchdowns rank second in school history, while his 105 receptions rank eighth and his 1,315 receiving yards, 13th. As a senior in 2005, Wilson totaled 25 receptions for 310 yards (12.4 avg.) and 1 touchdown.

For some funny reason this guy kinda reminds me of a Chad Johnson..

- Mid-round pick
- Division 1-A schools
- Drafted by AFC North teams (both in Ohio )
- Both have good size
- Good athleticism
- Big talkers

Maybe it just more of a conicidence.. :chuckles:... Nonetheless I expect him to be a solid, number 2 receiver at max potential.. We shall see though.. Savage predicted this one of the biggest steals in the draft..

We got a lot of steals on paper...everyone in the draft looks good because all you see are highlight clips.

If they're a steal on the field then that's what I'm about

Players are steals in the draft right up until we release them or trade them for lessor picks a few years later.

The good thing about Travis signing is with Braylon back and Joe having been signed we are not depending on Travis being a player.
