Yes, he sucked, and I thought he was an overpay from the start.

But he still is returning from significant time off, and it's going to take a solid month to see how far he can come back. Too soon to write him off completely.

To be fair we had to overpay him, not just because of Bron but also because he was a serviceable piece for us that we couldn't replace for less money. His health was reliable, his hustle was unbelievable, and he had good offensive connections with Delly and even Kyrie when it came to the pick and roll, lob to the rim.

He no longer has any of that and I already gave up on him after last years finals.. As far as him being a piece that could help us beat GS anyway. I have zero appreciation for someone that has zero offensive skill set. I also wouldnt want DJ.

Exactly. Even to @Sir'Dom Pointer point...as great as Kevin Love is I'm not sure we can keep giving him those paint opportunities against the Warriors. We have to limit the blown bunnies. Just let Love dominate them from 3 and when he catches it at the elbow. He's much better off the dribble than when he's rolling to the hoop.

Dont get me wrong, I'd take DJ over TT. I do think he would be a good rim protector but he has the same offensive limitations so that would still hinder us.

Hate this guy. Has sucked since our Finals win and he just doesn't do anything good on offense. Not a great passer not a great shoot not a great finisher and he cant even get on the glass anymore.

Team took a step back with him back and of course he had to come back for the GS game. Guys like LeBron Korver you see the harder time they have with him on the court

TT by far. JR can create space, hit 3s, drive a little, player better d, and pass. TT used to be able to rebound and play defense. Now he can't do any of that. He's just on the floor to block our players from driving and getting in the way of better players like Frye. He's every opposing teams 6th man of the year.

Except for those lobs that TT doesn't finish or the significant time it takes him to gather himself to go up for shot at the rim the constant head fakes followed by a miss or getting blocked would be an automatic 2.

I mean it doesn't seem like a lot, but if TT is gonna get floor time DJ can make a big difference in close games. TT missed 2 shots that DJ finishes easily. He's a better rebounder which could also count for an extra possession or 2 on offense and 1 or less on defense. Also TT doesn't quite get the concept on help defense occasionally. This can add up quickly. Give us 4 points at the end of the game before the intentional fouling and things are different.

DJ would have trouble switching on defense but we have quite a few people getting minutes that do. He's not my optimal trade target but if you dont have other better options with a deal involving tristan its a no brainer

TT has lost all the hustle that made him a good player. Everyone in the league now knows he can only go up with a two hand dunk, which is why he is being trapped and blocked so often.

Trade him for anything we can get at this point. He will be fighting to stay in the league after his contract is up.
