Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nance high on cocaine after a weeked of no sleep is still better than TT.

Nothing has changed Nance should play next to Love and get plenty of minutes at center, Nance is athletic agile and our only legit rim protector besides Zizic that actually knows about the rule of vertically and how to use it

He was playing well for us until his injury and Lue took his minutes and his confidence by being clueless and never playing him, I haven’t looked but I’m pretty sure our best lineup is still the Nance/Love one and it makes way more sense than playing TT over Nance.

TT does nothing better than Nance on the court besides getting offensive rebounds, and I’m being kind because really TT has stopped doing that effectively for almost 2 years now.
this why TT had to come in and bail out the Cavs against the Pacers?

Best opportunity for Nance is to have TT starting which forces Lue to use Nance.

Nance isn't a proven starter. he hsnt shown he can help a team win anything.

but he has shown he can crap his paints in the limelight.

as someone who wants to see Nance grow and succeed backing up TT is a far better formula of success for him than backing up Love

I see people praising Nance for his game 3 performance and it was a good one.. however Tristans was better.

Lue took Tristan out of the rotation and gave Nance the limelight. he didn't get the job done. he actually shouldn't of been put in the position he was in .

Lots of players were injured for bouts tis season. big turnover of the roster mid season as well.

Nance needs an offseason and a training camp but without Tristan. Cavs don't get to Toronto

Horford shot pretty decent again Nance in game. three it didn't matter though the game was over. most of the game Nance was on Greg Monroe

7 straight games without recording a steal or a block...longest such streak in NBA playoff history is 11 (minimum 10 minutes played in each game).

At least he gets rebounds!

He has his moments, that’s for damn sure
Get that trade value up TT, get it up.

Dude is the third best player on the court for the Cavs at times this series. Complete 180 from the reg season.

Tt been performing adequately...says alot about him really, been a terrible year for him, overweight at stages, poor play, dropped from rotation, caught with his pants down...the fact he has rallied to become a decent part of our playoff series really shows he is a competitor. Alot of other would have dropped their bundle completely

Altristan Thompford!

LeBron owns an entire city of Toronto. Maybe whole Canada. Because he is amazing.
Thompson is nowhere Bron's level, so he owns just Horford.

Tristan has been awesome. He absolutely deserves to be getting the minutes he has been. He is defending like a fiend even against guards after switches. His backline rotations have been much better. His activity on the offensive glass has made a real impact. And he’s actually been a solid roll threat. Hell he’s even posting up well and making swing passes.

TT keeps on shutting down Horford. When Lue sat down TT in the 3rd was the only time Horford was able to score. TT has his number. I just wish Lue would have started TT game one.

Props to TT for finally getting in shape because during most of the season he was out of shape and could be barely make a layup.

That gutsy block on Rozier was amazing! We found our rim protector. And every missed shots from Celtics was an automatic rebound from Tristan. He saved us from being eliminated from the Pacer series and continuing to help us win this series. I'm feeling glad that we didn't trade him.

I thought TT did a fantastic job on Horford in the 1st half so it was perplexing to see Lue randomly switch Love on Horford most of the 3rd quarter. What was that about? Horford has his way with Love, yet Tristan has his way (defensively) with Horford. Why did we go away from that for awhile?

Love was in foul trouble earlier in the game, and I think Lue stuck with him longer hoping to get Kevin going again.

Because lue is a moron. Same reason why he didn’t start TT from the beginning. He just can’t get out of his own way.

How would Love guarding Horford get him going, though? To me that seems counterproductive as Love clearly struggles to guard Horford.
