Now we can't edit posts. Can't be browser because I temporarily switched browsers and it's still the same. What say you Mr. Ben?

Looks like other users have edited posts within the last 15 minutes. Can you give more specifics on what happens (and also list browser / OS)? That might help him figure it out.

Re: New Members

I'm using Firefox and Chrome at the moment. Win7 32-bit. None of them allow me to edit my posts.

Not sure why you would be having that problem to be honest... are you up to date on all your plugins?

I cannot edit any of my posts either. I'm on Chrome. When i click the edit post button, the post box turns solid grey and it essentially freezes up not letting me enter information.

test

I can edit. - I am on chrome (that was an edit).

I will say, however, that I've noticed the "grey box" thing before. It's almost as if the server is freezing very quickly.

Gray box has happened to me too using Chrome and Firefox.

I've had the gray box thing periodically but have been able to edit some posts. This AM I've tried 4-5 times to edit 1 post unsuccessfully.

I've been having it off and on all day as well.

I have been getting it off and on for the past couple of months as well.

I'm having a different issue editing posts and I'm just wondering if it's only me. This only happens occasionally, not every time. However sometimes when I edit a post it creates a second post on the forum. There's the original post untouched and the second post contains my edit. Mac, Safari.

I get this too. I haven't had it create another post but I found it best just to open the edit in a new tab.

I don't use a Mac so I can't duplicate this error... sorry. I'll ask around and see if its a known issue. The new forum software will be up and running in a month so hopefully that clears up a lot of issues we've been having.

Today on IE and Chrome, will not let me edit posts

Getting this on Mozilla today, first time it's ever happened
