What happened ???

Ohio State senior quarterback Troy Smith: The Heisman Trophy winner passed on working out at the combine, where he likely would have tested out as one of the better athletes at his position. Instead, he looked a little out of shape in terms of his overall rhythm during the positional portion of his workout with a handful of balls being under-thrown – a trend that has caused scouts to reevaluate the game films they watched this season.

Man he looks bad. As much as I hate to say it and as much as A Mac will love this its true. Even during that Skills competiton he did ok in distance (which doesn't mean much as far as his skill from November to now) and not bad in the accuracy, but he looked very out of rythm and was short on almost every throw. If you saw the skill that was for catching and each guy was paired up with a QB, Smith looked horrible. Three throws weren't that great with the last one being way short and wasn't caught.

His stock is nearing rock bottom.

No surprise.

Why is this a surprise, i also was saying the same thing...good college, QB, not NFL material. Maybe he can take Krenzels job.

Everyone says he's slipping... Out of shape and seems disinterested..

Out of shape was Jamarcus Russell.Atleast he showed up to the combine,cough...cough...cough.

A ton of players chose not to because of horrible conditions.

Smith just seems like every since the morning of November 19th he just doesn't care. Beating Michigan for an Ohio State player is usually #1 on their "To Do" list (and vice versa) but going to the pros has to be something he cares about. If it is, he sure as hell isn't showing it. Jones (right?) from ND (RB) had to be pissed. He was the guy Smith threw to, and many of Troy's throws were just plain off. Not in stride, one was high and two were low. It's not looking good for the Heisman Trophy winner.

Russel really came in out of shape...how he can be fat and his stock not hurt that much amazes me.

Hopefully it keeps falling!

This way come 3rd round, he is Cleveland bound... Hehe, good boy Troy.

I wouldn't take him in the 3rd. Depending on who we get in the second, either a DL or OL would be great (Pitcock looks to be a nice 3rd round pick if he's still there). 4th? Only if any and all impact players are gone, then sure pick him up.

He hasnt played one down in the NFL. Im not saying things are looking good, because they arent, but his confidence has to be shot.

Several months ago he was on cloud 9, one bad game and hes falling like Brittney Spears.

no, he was never some incredible cant miss NFL prospect, he was in the middle, now he has been pushed over the edge.

Just shut up bro. The pats got lucky on a 6th rounder, he was nothing in college, was a backup for the majority of the time if I remember correctly.

We never said Smith was going to be something special, or I didnt I just had a problem with you ripping a guy who was dominating the college ranks.

They said Jamarcus came in 10 pounds more than they expected.I dunno I heard on ESPN that they said they were dissapointed in how he looked when he came in.

Don't see how people that can get a top draft pick would slack and cost them millions. Retards.
