So much for Freedom of the Press... Oh wait it is only freedom if you agree with the person or organization...

It should be pointed out that Freedom of Speech (and by extension the Press) is subject to Defamation law... Which CNN clearly flirted with and illicited that response from Trump. Which as seen in the xkcd above Trumps response in no way encroaches on the Freedom of Speech.

By denying an press outlet the ability to get a question in and calling them "fake news" is a form of censorship which is where I was going with. You are now in favor of censoring media that you don't agree with or call fake.

Obama had a similar scenario in 2013.

And this video addresses exactly what you're talking about, cnn is the new kicking boy, fox news had been

To be fair, cnn was not guilty of any wrong doing to prompt this. Az is correct on the Kellyann/Anderson video

I don't think Obama has ever called Fox News a fake news organization within a press conference. That is the issue. You can not agree with them and not answer a question the problem is calling a news organization fake in a setting such as the press conference is leading to a form of censorship where you are "censoring" all those that disagree with you.

Where in this video does Trump not allow this reporter to write his article?

Get media credentials. Go to any press conference. As soon as they start instead of waiting to be called on start screaming at the person your question. As they ask you to quiet down scream your question louder and louder. Come back and cry to me how you were censored. Are you 5? Where does this work for you except to your parents when you are 5.

CNN did get a question in so they were not denied.

If you have watched their coverage the last 8 months they are most certainly presenting many fake news stories.

Didn't watch the video, but felt the need to throw your 2 cents in huh? Obama has openly attacked them as not news. It's in the video. Maybe watch it before making uninformed comments.

Just like Breitbart??? Their climate change article was fake news.

Yep just like you do quite often.

Sorry I do research. Instead of just parroting what the other side tells me to parrot. There is a thing called critical thought. Something you appear to be lacking.

Holy Moly, I've voted Democrat my entire life. I despised Fox News. You know who looks like Fox News of the early 2000's this whole year? CNN. Fox actually has many anchors attacking Trump the entire year. CNN 0 for Trump. MSNBC 0 for Trump.

Thinking critically is exactly what I did which is why I flipped my vote. I still don't really like most of the Republicans, but I definitely hate that the Democrats have become early 2000 Republicans crossed with socialists on most issues.

Right back at you... Oh wait that is all you do.

Sorry man I wasn't talking about Breitbart. I was talking about Trump, Fox and CNN. No clue why Breitbart is being added to the conversation by you.

This is why I don't vote for a specific party (Voted for Gary Johnson this past election). I rarely watch any of the CNN, MSNBC or Fox as they are too slanted on their agenda.

What I don't like is that people thinking that Trump is infallible or that shutting down media in a presser is a good thing (it isn't there are lines that are being crossed).

So by calling CNN fake news (regardless what your opinion of them is) there is a grey area there that can be used as a form of censorship saying we arent' going to allow x because of the company being fake news.

You were mentioning CNN pandering fake news the past 8 months (I don't watch television news as most of it is too sensationalized or biased) yet you posted a Breitbart article on 18 scandals for Obama's admin (I will give you some, fast and furious, Benghazi, Holder) but not all of them and I just pointed out that Breitbart was part of the while "fake news" argument as well.

The point was they all do it.

We're not going to allow this outlet because we call them fake news and don't understand what that means.

Sounds logical enough.
