Tucker Leaves Practice with Knee Problem

Notes from Friday's practice: Ryan Tucker feels something in his knee, Bentley and Minter go under the knife, and Travis Wilson starts falling behind...



Berea - Offensive tackle Ryan Tucker left the practice field early due to a possible knee problem. Romeo Crennel said it was precautionary because Tucker felt something while practicing. He said the doctors are going to take a MRI and make sure there's nothing serious.

Besides Tucker, other injury updates were that WR Braylon Edwards has not been cleared to practice yet, but was riding the bicycle and caught some passes.

Surgery Update: LeCharles Bentley had surgery today and it went well, according to Crennel. Rookie CB Demario Minter also had surgery

If anyone thought we would be bad without LCB, w/o Tucker, we are done! Put a fork in us.

Tucker sits, rests sore knee

Ryan Tucker's sore left knee kept him out of practice Saturday morning, but Browns coach Romeo Crennel said Tucker's knee is just "old" and shouldn't pose a major problem.

"He's got a lot of wear and tear on that knee," Crennel said. "We just need to rest it from time to time, and we did that this morning."

Tucker walked off the field just prior to practice Friday afternoon and didn't return. Crennel said an MRI revealed a cartilage problem, but nothing that should pose a major problem.

"We're just going to give it a chance to settle down," Crennel said. "Sometimes we need to rest it so he'll be good to go later."
