Re: Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Donyell Marshall is been a big time help this year from beyond the arc.. From the looks of it, he's recovered from last year's underachieving year.. The extra conditiong that he put in during the off-season has payed-off..
No surprise Pavlovic goes barreling out of control and gets a charge called on him.. I mean, it almost seems like a calling card for him... Then a few mintues after that, he airballs a three.. It just doesn't seem like the player Paxson thought he could be... Maybe it's because he's buried in the bench, but it doesn't look like he will ever accomplish anything here..
Another surprising thing, is that Damon Jones looks to be the best option we have at the PG spot.. His defense is 5x times better than it was last year.. His lateral quickness seems like it maybe improved, his defensive rotation is there and most importantly his effort is there.. His shot has been off, but he nonetheless provides us with court spacing.. If he can keep up the shooting he displayed in the 1st quarter, he will have a good night tonight and really help the Cavs..
The so called "elite" Bulls defense isn't much more than a bump in the road for the Cavs in the first quarter.. Ben Wallace has been as quiet as can be..
And last but not least, without the big man to rely upon down low, they have really struggled with us taking away the outside shot and them just not knocking it down.. And there in lies the problem for them..
