There was no profile head shot of him on the Hornets site.. So just like with the Cavs Marty A. I decided to leave the bench at 7 instead of the 10 that is allowed on the roster...

this should be a butt kicking unless we brick the q's opener. this will be a back to back for NO/OKY and should be a route. talk about the nicest schedule maker in the nba. get brown's first professional win and let the boys get used to each other.

on a down note the new oky hornets won't have the jitters after one game under their belt.

if we loose this we're going to look like fools to the rest of the nba.

hopefully a big lead that the bench can give away like the boston game. please no wilks, henderson, white, jackson/pavs lineup again.

this is a get larry involved in the game in my mind. let him be the third scorer on this team and establish that early in the season.

they are a running team now. PJ brown to me might have a All-Star caliber season with Paul and Speedy running the show. Cavs better not take this game lightly at all. Lots of good talent on that team.

so we go from saying that the hornets are one of the worst teams in the league with very very little talent to "lots of good talent". guys dont let one win blur your vision.

the kings got into town this afternoon since they had plane trouble. instead of leaving yesterday they left today and got their several hours before the game. it was their home opener, blah blah blah.

Although the Cavs should still blow the Hornets apart, no team (no matter how bad) should never be taken lightly. Never. Chris Paul is probably the player the Cavs need to contain, and that should be done easily with Eric Snow, Larry Hughes and maybe even LeBron James having a shot at him.

The Kings also shot something like 30% from the field. You cannot win against any team shooting 30%. This should still be a win, but lets just say the Hornets have showed that they're not going to be anywhere near as bad as last year.

First off, they beat the KINGS, who are know for their poor "D".. On any given night a team can beat both the KINGS and MAVERICKS who are both pretty good teams, but since their "D" is so poor they are vulnerable to teams of lesser talent.

Sacramento a little moreso, just because they don't have the offensive fire power that Dallas has..

You take that into account along with it being the first game in Oklahoma and that crowd providing a electricity and "BUZZ" (Little pun intended)..So anything can happen..

I believe the Cavs will blow them out tomorrow.. Snow and Hughes will put the clamps down on Paul and Smith...

Nobody to stop "Z" and this should be an easy one..

I think that Sacto is worse than last year and NOOC is probably a little better. It could also be the same thing the Saints did this year- winning an emotionally charged opener before falling back to earth. I'll be there in the nosebleeds, still have one ticket left just having a hard time finding someone else to go...it won't be that way by the end of the year.

Excellent preview LePip. Great job. I see an easy win tonight after a close first half. I think we might be a bit too pumped up early, missing some shots and turning it over by being out of control. The game will be close at the half, but then we will see something we haven't seen the previous years - A THIRD QUARTER OUTBURST.

I'm not reading anything into last night's game. Sacto shot 31% and everyone is going to have a night like that. Just like we are going run into some inferior team that makes everything one night and beats us - kinda like in Chicago early last season (before they got hot). We were rolling, they were struggling to beat anybody, and they shoot 55+% and kick our ass.

Cavs win 109-92

LeBron 28 pts, 5 boards, and 9 assists
Hughes 15 poins, 6 boards and 2 steals
Z dominates with 24 and 12
Drew gets a quiet (if there is such a thing) double-double

It is finally here! The start of the 05-06 NBA season! I am PUMPED! The Cavaliers are ready to make some noise! They will dispose of the Hornets tonite without much challenge.

Oh yeah how sweet is it to hear AC again check out the SKULL CAP haha what a pimp. I can't wait...25 minutes boys! The new screen and video things are amazing they were on fox 8 they are the most high tech in the country I heard which is awesome, first class arena for a first class team....maybe it will progress to a first place?
