For thoughs of you that dont know already if we do trade wally HE WONT be back. Why? well he would have to wait 30 days and by than the time where you have to have your playoff roster will already be set meaning he wouldnt be able to play in the playoffs.
 
Incorrect.

The player has to be WAIVED by March 1st. Playoff rosters I don't believe are set until right before the playoffs start.

To be eligible for the playoff roster of a team, a player has to be WAIVED before March 1st. He can be signed after that and still be eligible, as long as he is waived by the 1st.
 
How many times does this have to be explained to people? Megamansilly, you are wrong.
 
If Wally is traded, and then is released after a buyout let's say within the next few days after the trade.. That leaves a month before the season officially ends. Wally should be able to make the playoff roster after that.

I remember the Spurs did it last year with Brent Barry.. Traded him on the day of the deadline, then signed him back in 30 days and he made the playoff roster.
 
I am still going with what I heard on ESPN and STO before some posters that thing we can get LMA and Richard from wally, hickson and the heats 2ed round pick... WHEN THE HELL DID WE GET THERE 2ed round pick anyways?
 
There are 7 days until the trade deadline. The regular season is not over until after April 15th. how can playoff rosters be finalized before the season ends?
