Week 1: Bengals @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The thing I dislike about Daryl Ruiter is he's not only a whiny prick, but it's like he loves doing it.

Like... we all complain about Watson's bad play but we also get hyped about his great plays and after it's all said and done, if we get the W it's all good and we just want to get better next game.

Hit him right in the chest, man.

I’m willing to give him some more time and hope he at least shows some flashes (I really liked the pick at the time), but you gotta make those kinds of catches even if the conditions aren’t great.

Cleveland is basically nothing but shitty conditions during the football season.

Bell is trying to make his mark as the Hunter Renfrow with a better frame. This should be a game where he shows the elite hands in bad conditions. So, it's one play but he failed in the area he should excel. Take note, but don't cut him over it.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but it wasn’t just the misdirection of the formation, but the situational context of having just used the final timeout and only 20 some seconds left.

Very very hard to imagine they would have risked the loss of clock or potential for a fumble on a run play.

That Watson TD was a great play call but I half wonder if we originally called a pass but gave Watson the freedom to audible to a run if he likes the alignment of the defense.

When 99% of us bag on a Browns player, we’re relaying what we’re seeing in the field. But we want to be proven wrong. We don’t want to be right.

Rioter gives off the vibe that he’d actually prefer Watson’s play matches his criticism forever so that he can be right, regardless of the results and consequences for the team on the whole

I hadn’t even thought of that, great point. Adds to the epicness of that call

I get what you're saying, they do different things, but it sounds a little ridiculous to say they don't play the same position. Bottom line is I'd rather have Watkins catching passes than Bell.
I know lots of people think this is Madden.

There are different positions at wide receiver. Same as different positions at tight end, or defensive tackle.

Watkins can't play in the slot and zero teams in the NFL had interest in picking him up when we cut him.

He wouldn't play above Cooper, DPJ, Goodwin, Tillman or Elijah and doesn't contribute on special teams.

If they can come out and score on this drive, I'll feel pretty good about winning this one.

Ehhh felt we needed points on this drive

PLEASE SCORE.

ANOTHER 7 PLEASE

Was that not a horse collar tackle?

Don’t expect refs to looks after Watson tough the way they do for other QBs

Feel like burrow is due to force something.
