It's kinda incredible how much better the Browns record becomes when you remove Ben Roethlisberger and Terry Bradshaw out of the equation for the Steelers. (during a stretch of 21 years between 1980 and 2003)
It's not...perfect per say, it's a shade below .500, but there's about 8 playoff appearances and 5 division titles during that time period. I think our record against them per the doc I had (which got lost) was 16-21 at the time. Again, not ideal but certainly better than modern day.
I keep sounding insane here but I really believe that once he hangs it out? The Browns will, yes, actually make the playoffs. Hell, had the idiot not been their starting QB in 2007, and 2014? The Browns likely are in the playoffs during those seasons.
