Week 12: Browns @ Broncos

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Here’s the classic “RCF swings too far the other way” game

Offense is actual ass, but cmon guys Jets and Bengals we will be favored and SHOULD win those games

We aren’t suddenly the worst team in the NFL after a bad loss… it was just a bad loss

The formula hasn’t changed. Win games on defense and special teams. Our offense is what it is at this point: ass. That was also true against the Steelers and we beat a current playoff team anyway
I think you're right. And honestly I saw good sign from DTR today, like the game isn't too big or too fast for him. If Flacco takes over I hope he can play well enough to give us a chance to win.

We shot ourselves in the foot today with penalties and fumbles, and DTR wasn't at fault in those errors.

IDK what happened to our defense today but it just seemed to be one of those bad games. Bad penalties at bad times kept us on the field, some of them bullshit calls but whatever. Guys weren't executing in holding down their run stop responsibilities, and this seems to be an Achilles Heel for the defense. I'm hoping Schwartz can figure out how to mask that weakness. Wilson was able to audible the runs right where our softest spots were and Denver executed well. Our DBs weren't at their best today either.

If the defense could have held them to our season average I think the offense might have come through with enough to win. It just wasn't in the cards today. And playing in Denver sucks.

Hopefully the team pulls their shit back together for LA.

I disagree. The reason we have had so many drops is that DTR is rushing passes, waiting too long or gunning the ball. He's got zero touch on his passes.

You have very low expectations for NFL receivers. If a ball hits them in the hands they should make the catch. You seem to put it completely on the quarterback like every throw should be perfect. All the drops were within a foot of being on target. Receivers all over the league make these catches week after week.

But go ahead and place all the blame on the rookie playing his second actual game (with preparation). I'm glad you weren't on my team back when I played.

I will place the blame on a rookie. This is the second week that there have been drops like this. Is it more likely that the passser’s touch is bad or the receivers, who have been fine with other QBs, drop passes two weeks in a row?

I’ve got no problem with the kid and understand he’s a rookie. But to blame this one on the receiving core is a misstep.
