I'll start the game thread, but I have my doubts I'm going to be watching carefully. The Pack are heavily favored at home, and I don't need coal in my stocking.

Snakebit season. It happens, like 1988. Miracle we made the playoffs with our 3 QBs all out at one point, then my Dad’s Miami golfing buddy came into town and nearly led us to a playoff win except the refs screwed us out of a Clay Matthews fumble return for TD because they prematurely blew the whistle. Yeah I’m still bitter.

I’ll still watch the game but not expecting much with so many players out.

I’d watch if Baker wasn’t playing just outta curiosity … But since he is I know how this passing game will look….

Reminds me of that ED commercial on MNF when the guy couldn’t throw the ball through the tire.

So is this a barebones thread for a barebones team ?

Here's your pound of flesh:

While we are on the subject, I'd like to mention this defense has been as good as I've seen a Browns defense ever since JOK got healthy. For those of you too young to remember a Coach Schottenheimer or Coach Carson defense, this is a real dawg pound.

They need to rate this game as TV-MA for what the Packers are going to do.

Prediction:

Everyone in this thread that feigns casual interest in this game and refuse to allow themselves to get sucked into it… get sucked into it when a plucky start by the browns keep it within a score into the third quarter. A long Naggar field goal before the half brings us within 4 (have we found our kicker at last!?!!)

Above posters (myself included) are fully invested in the third and openly ignoring their family thinking they are watching the galvanizing flashpoint of a team destined for a storybook playoff run.

Late in the third quarter a Baker Mayfield pick-six begins what will be the most humiliating 15 minutes of Browns football in recent memory.

RBF posters turn off the game with around 6 minutes to go. Drunker than they intended to be. Significant others disgusted with them… but not more disgusted than they are of themselves.

Merry Christmas everyone. Go Browns I suppose.

Based on how this season has gone…….

Browns and Baker will look incredible, everyone will hop back on the saddle post Packers win.

Then we will lose in the most idiotic fashion imaginable against Pittsburgh, to end our season.
