Week 4: Ravens @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Turned in the fins bills game, did I miss a report?
They said something about the MRI showing there is still fluid in the rotator cuff, which by anyone's guess is probably not a good thing.

I am not sure Jerome is a starting caliber back.

Kareem is meh, fine as a third back

I think Ford is a 3rd down and change of pace RB, not a starting RB. There might not be a starting RB on this roster but they need to see if there is someone that can run between the tackles. I would give Hunt the chance to try to run between tackles. Strong needs some carries to see if he can contribute to a committee approach. Ford just isn't good enough at this point for the role he is being given.

They have to make a move if this Watson injury is the least bit serious. DTR is not winning you a game.

I've seen wildcat offenses with no QB do better lol (It doesn't really mean much here and I'm mostly joking). But your aggressive defense of Stefanski indicates more than your first sentence, or at least it's easy to perceive it that way.

Do you think Stefanski called a great game? Good game? Or average to below average? Curious on your response.

I have no idea. I'm watching the television broadcast just like everyone else and I don't think clear determinations can be made off that alone.

I'll watch the All-22 later in the week for shits and gigs. But I do think Stefanski could have called an A+ game and the Browns would have still lost and had a very bad offensive performance either way.

DTR was tremendously bad and there's no amount of play calling or scheme that can overcome a QB that can barely complete a pass.

DTR was clearly fool's gold for the fans. What is scary is the front office and coaching staff felt good enough about him to get rid of the only veteran back-up they had. That should be questioned.

As bad as he was DTR showed a few flashes of what he did well during the preseason. He threw a few good balls and he scrambled well on a few plays. The problem is he completely fell apart and looked absolutely overwhelmed on way too many of his reps.

Maybe.

He's a rookie though, so an A+ called game could build confidence and result in a better performance overall.

I strongly agree with this.

Based on what we saw today, the Browns unequivocally would not win a single game DTR is forced to start the rest of this season. That was a historically inept performance.

I get the whole "if QB1 gets hurt, we're fucked and we don't practice fucked" thing that Tom Moore used to say about Peyton Manning, but I really don't know who determined that DTR was ready to be a backup QB.

They appear to be wildly off base with that.

At least we got a 5th rounder for Dobbs. Maybe we can use that to draft another DTR!

I don't know how much of a consolation this is, but I don't think we win the game today with Deshaun playing either.

If I'm going to throw SOME of the blame on Joe Woods for his misevaluation of the importance of DTs in his system, then I have to do the same thing with Stefanski and the offensive coaching staff. They're the ones watching DTR every day in practice.

I think Berry and Stefanski bought too much into the preseason hype. I agree it's kind of scary.

Not so sure about this but you may be right. Which isnt good
