Week 4: Ravens @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watching highlights from UCLA DTR was pretty accurate 30-35 yards down the field with good vision moving away from pressure. If the Browns need a 55 yard Hail Mary throw he probably isn't it.

Only 12 WRs in 2023 are averaging 30+ air yards per reception so far in 2023. Only four of those 12 (Christian Watson, Tee Higgins, Marvin Mims and DJ Chark) have 100+ receiving yards through three games. Watsons average air yards/completion (including WR, TE, RBs and Harrison Bryant) is 15.3 yards and air yards/attempt is under 9.8 yards.
15.3 is ripping it imo

I read MGMT’s post as don’t just run a bunch of 2 yard routes and run the ball every 2nd and 10. Which I agree with

Would be pretty ironic for the offense with a rookie QB to go out there and score 27 or something and this be the first game the defense looks lost.
The most Browns outcome imo is DTR lights the world on fire, AFC offensive player of the week level play, and then Watson throws up a few stinkers in a row on return

Then we can have fun in hell

This situation is the same as Eagles w/Hurts last season. Hurt his shoulder late on some BS vs the Bears, had to bring in Minshew. Hurts came back to secure 1 seed and playoffs.

Speaking of Minshew, he lead the Colts to a W in relief of a QB who had been lighting it up for them against this Ravens team last week.

Losing Quattro sucks for this game but the Browns are still in a better place than Baltimore right now. I'd be concerned if there were people missing on defense.

Defense is due to score some points of their own. Think it'll be necessary to win this one.

I love the idea of delivering the ratbirds their second straight loss to a backup QB. Defense gives us a real chance.

For everyone saying we will be fine the line flipped 5.5 points. Ravens now favored

Its ok to admit this is a bad spot to be in

Respectfully, so what?

DTR is on the team for a reason. In fact, they traded away the veteran backup when they clearly didn't have to because of how much they feel confident in the rookie.

So now it's time to go win a game. No excuses.

I’m not pronouncing us dead I’m just surprised some people think this is still some sort of layup

As for if we win or not? No idea. The range of outcomes for this game is all over the place. The most volatility of any game we have played thus far

It’s not hard for me to envision the browns coming out and scoring 30 and dominating. Its not hard for me to envision the offense being absolutely anemic and scoring a single field goal

...and the Vegas line falls right back down to a slight 1.5 edge to the Browns. That's more intrigue than an unrated extended cut on the DVD of an American Pie sequel.
