I've got tough decisions at every position except the two least important: K and TE. Please help me decide:
QB: 1 of Delhomme @ Bal, Gradkowski vs Cin, Huard @ Pit
RB: 1 of Turner @ SF, Dunn vs NYG, Norwood vs NYG, Barlow vs Mia
WR: 2 of T.O. vs Hou, A. Johnson @ Dal, S Smith @ Bal
DEF: 1 of Bills @ Det, Steelers vs KC
The results are in. Players with an asterics are who I chose to start. Players in bold would be the correct choice. All players are listed in order of points scored by position:
QB
18.8 Delhomme
* 17.4 Gradkowski
2.5 Huard
RB
* 20.6 Dunn
4.5 Barlow
0.9 Norwood
0.0 Turner
WR
29.5 Steve Smith
* 23.5 Terrel Owens
* 9.0 Andre Johnson
DEF
* 33.6 Pit
12.2 Buf
The only mistake that cost me anything was starting AJ over Steve Smith. I could of had
53 points from my WRs alone! Speaking of which, it looks like Steve Smith and T.O. have returned to "start regardless of matchup" status. Yeah for me!
How about that rocket Gradkowski? That was nice to see. Meanwhile, how did Omar Jacobs fair this weekend? HPD, I'm waiting?
Concerning the defenses, the one I had as a lock, Phi vs NO, was the one I should of benched. Buffalo outscored them by 10 points! I guess the saints are officially "for real".
Funny, I waited till the last minute to make some changes. It went like this:
* At 12:41 pm sunday (and most of last week), I had Turner and AJ starting over Smith and Dunn.
* At 12:42, I had Smith and Dunn starting over Turner and AJ. This is a +41.1 point swing!
* At 12:43, I flopped back AJ over Smith. A -20.5 swing. :thumbdown
Oh well, it didn't matter in the end. I got over 70 points from LT and Pit, and the final score is currently listed at 198.4, just 6 points off of the record (which I set last year). It would of been nice to smash the record, and make it a bit more untouchable, but I'll settle for doubling up my opponant's score. :chuckles:
Dungong and Mac had the best advice, and thus get rep. Thanks everyone for your help!
