Part two of the Steelers Browns rivalry definitely has unfinished business for both squads. Looking back at week one, it was almost like the first Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight. The Steelers floored a Browns a few times early but the Browns wouldn't go away, chipping away and never giving into defeat. At the end both fighters looked confused at the tie and unable to feel either like they won or lost, but knew that a rematch would be highly anticipated.
The teams are going different directions now. The Steelers had some issues exposed in the first week loss, but they are righting the ship and won their last two before a bye. James Connor has established himself as a back who gets better with more carries. Big Ben is a notorious slow starter and always plays better at home.
On the other side the Browns might frustrate the everliving hell out of the fan base, but they have become a tough out for their opponents. The days of the Browns basically being an extra bye week are gone. Going into overtime four times out of seven games is a fairly astonishing feat, despite the recent let downs. I also wonder if they are feeling the effects of essentially playing an extra game of football when you combine the overtimes.
The weather is supposed to suck. It's the Steelers game, so it would feel wierd if the weather was any different. Vegas opened with the Steelers favored by 7 1/2, but it's up to 8 1/2 today. If there's one thing we can say about these Browns, they have been a quality dog to put your money on so far.
Prediction: Steelers win by a field goal 26 - 23.
