Anthony Lima trying to blame Mayfield on Twitter for not “elevating this roster in spite of the poor coaching.” I’ve given Baker his share of the blame this year but what a stretch argument - especially in the wake of (probably) his second best game of the season.
How are you expected to overcome constant penalties and coaching decisions that lack even a modicum of of common sense? If anything, give him credit this isn’t a 35 point game.
No other franchise quarterback in football has to “overcome” that.
He actually played really good. Outside that bizarre pick. By far his best football of the season, against the best defense.
Anyone saying he should over come stupid coaching, asinine turnovers (okay one was on him), against a team like this, is a fucking clown.
I've been very critical on Baker too. Mainly because I don't think he spent enough time working on his craft, to be better.
Clearly evident, the coaching is putting him in position to fail though. He's putting the entire team in position to fail.
Our number one issue, by far and away. By a large margin. Is that fat fuck on the sidelines.
