So, I know we have to have at least one MD here that might know something.
Let me preface by saying that yes, I am very stupid and don't go to doctors regularly due to finances.
So about 2 weeks ago, I noticed a large fluid buildup on my left elbow. There was no pain associated with it so I didn't think much of it. It really hasn't affected my movement, strength, or anything else.
Well, after being annoyed by it, my friends and I made the brilliant decision to just get a sterile needle and pop the damn thing ourselves. Well, after pulling the needle out, I was met with a clear orange-ish fluid squirting from it. There was no pus, or any foreign matter in the liquid, so I assume it was just fluid in the bursae sacs. Is orange the normal color for that? Did I run across some rare issue that I really need to get checked out now? If it's not something to be concerned about, then I'll skip going to the doctors like I do for everything else.
