I had no idea who this guy was. Thought it was Justin Patton (big man from Creighton).

Guess he's a decent guy to take a camp flyer on, though...

Same here. Doesn’t appear that he set the world on fire at any of his collegiate stops (Washington State, Tennessee, Auburn) or in Summer League with the Heat

Shot 42% from three in college last season. He's strictly a shooter. Higher 3 Point percentage then field goal percentage for Washington State last season. If he can become a end of the bench sniper long term cool. If not who cares he can hit some threes for the Charge.

Koby looking for the next Merril?

His upside might be end of the bench 3P sniper….for the Charge.

Which is fine. Bates, Merrill, Porter, Nance, and Brobley need some solid role players who play their part without trying to to do too much during the Charge’s championship run.

Already looking forward to our Summer League Repeat in July 24.

Cooper
Porter

Merrill ( or this Powell guy if they don’t allow Merrill to play due to unfair competitive advantage and old age)

Bates
Travers
Nance
Brobley
Diop
Plus our 2024 1st and a Koby 2nd Round Special

Almost unfair for the rest of the league really

Powell is a decent player if he can get his head out of his ass and quit letting his dad dictate his life.

That's a kid I've followed for a long time. Excellent shooter, decent handles for a SG, decent size... but he's been a quitter his entire basketball career. Different high school every year, different college every year. Instead of working on himself and his game to improve his situation, his dad gets in his ear about how great he is and what he deserves and he runs off to the next stop.

Sounds a lot like the Emoni Bates situation. Maybe the Cavs need to come up with parenting classes for basketball dads. Mobley's parents can teach it.
