Welcome Raul Neto

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was referring to his performance against Utah in crunch time. He flat out pissed me off in that one. He was fine tonight.

He had a bad turnover, that annoyed everyone, but that was it, LeVert's fauls killed us more than the one turnover, although i think those fouls were bad refs and rules more than anything.

That turnover started a domino effect that killed us. He has to play smarter than that. He has real talent around him, he doesn't have to do it on his own this year like he did last year.

Was it just me or did Neto look less than fully effective last night? Quickley and Brunson seemed to chew him up. Like many other bench players on this team, the Knicks are a tough matchup for him.

I think he was just super aggressive and was swatting at the ball. It gave them the opportunity to go around. I still want to see him in this series.

One thing though. Cavs were much bigger without Okoro and Ricky. Cedi and Green got those min and the size was important for that win

I've been advocating for more run for this guy all season. Had a recent post about why he was glued to the bench when Vert was slumping and Garland was injured. Good things happen when he's out there. He has an "IT" factor that Delly brought. The game that has foul trouble for our Guards - maybe we'll see this bulldog, and he will make his mark.

Do you think he could slow Brunson? How would he do if he had to switch to Grimes ?

The Knicks were clamoring for Grimes and he has been a total no show like Quickly.

I think Neto can guard him. Maybe Grimes can just shoot of the dribble over top of him, but I don't think he is there yet

Its a good question. I think he has the potential to frustrate Brunson. But that would be his only task.

I feel Rubio is a lost cause this season. He needs more recovery. My yearning for Neto is to replace Rubio.

Kinda seems both are out of the rotation for this series with the 3 headed bench though.

I don't think Neto is a great fit for this series.

I would not be surprised if the next game has a 7 man rotation with just Osman and Green coming off the bench.

Raul's game always translated better to the Euroleague. He gets by his guy to disrupt decently, not great. His three ball never peaked past mediocre. He is awful finishing around the rim. But, he is a pesky defender and gets teammates involved as a passer. Wish him the best, his NBA career lasted longer than I thought it would.

Glad he was here. He did a great job as 3rd string pg. Wish him the best
