What was the reason the Chargers even brought in another kicker to compete with him if he’s been that good in his career? Did they just want someone with a bigger leg?

He was signed to their practice squad last year after bouncing around. They just had a phylosophy of having a competition, bit suprised Dicker won the competition, not convinced he is the better kicker than Hopkins but he does have the bigger leg.

He filled in last year when Hopkins got hurt.
