Welcome to Cleveland, James Hudson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you want to understand how good James Hudson is, watch this film of Cinci vs Georgia. Watch the whole thing.

Notice how Azeez Ojulari starts to wreck the game?

Well, James Hudson had to leave the game...

Could play guard at his arm length.

Seems like his attitude matches what the Browns look for. Seems like a versatile kid that can fit in at multiple spots.

Rookie of the year ? I’d put some money down...

Was Higher on Jaylon Moore tbh but Hudson should have been gone before they took him he is farther along for sure.
Good value imo.
Ellerson and Jordon Smith as well as Sample are gone though so I am not sure what they are doing Edge wise at this point
after the trade out

You forgot to mention it appears he was ejected from the game for an absolutely egregious late hit at 05:30 in the video

He's a project, especially his pass blocking technique where he seems to instinctually lunge and lose balance. He was the better athlete in college and got away with it, but for the pros he'll need to clean that up. However, if Callahan can rebuild his pass blocking he's got physical tools to be a great NFL lineman. Definitely a project, but a much better one than I would have expected to be on the board in the 4th round.

That's exactly why I wanted to see the Cavs draft a developmental tackle. Callahan and his staff did just an outstanding job coaching up our linemen, so getting a guy with physical talent who needs coaching up is the perfect way to leverage what Callahan provides. Much rather see us grab promising raw material than go after older vets who inevitably will have a lower ceing.
