Welcome Todd Haley - Browns OC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dowell Loggains has been failing upward in his career since 2012. It's either a bad year after another as a QB coach who doesn't develop his young guys or an offense in the bottom quarter of the league. He's the Norm McDonald of offensive football coaches.

I don't know why but I always get him mixed up with DeFillipo

I read it and remain comfortable using the non-racially charged version, thank you very much.

So let me get this straight - "Kabuki theater" is "non-racially charged", but Kabuki theater" isn't?

GTFO.

If you want to continue to discuss performing arts in the Edo Period, I'm all in. Otherwise, let's pivot to the Browns Offensive Coordinator.

I mentioned Stefanski, but everyone says he is going to take over as OC in Minnesota after Pat Shurmur gets a head coach and gig. Still a coach to watch in the future.

Brought up Fichtner in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, he was promoted to Haley's gig as OC. Hopefully he doesn't have a taste for tequila.

There are still a multitude of former OCs and head coaches with success in the recent past. Mike McCoy, Buncha Mularkey, and Greasy Ben would all be upgrades from what we had last year after Pep Harris left... Nothing. I just hope that they don't grab a college coach who isn't ready. The track record isn't good for that kind of jump.

I'm torn, because my No. 1 priority is that Hue gets fired. No. 2 is the Browns having a good season.

If they get someone really good who also is able to take over as an interim head coach, I suppose that's okay. The danger is that they do well enough so that Hue doesn't get fired.

Otherwise, I hope they hire an incompetent boob who ensures Hue gets fired.

That sounds like a significant group of Browns fans who have been fueled by spite. A season can end much happier than getting somebody you dislike fired as the end goal.

If the Browns are in the top half of the NFL on offense and they manage six wins - and I don't think any of that is wild dreaming - life as a Browns fan would be much better. It would feel like that short stretch in 2014 when the Browns we're competitive.

There's nothing wrong with spite in fandom. I love rooting against the Ravens, and against the post-2010 Miami Heat. And that was pure spite.

I can't/won't root for the Browns as long as Hue is the HC. I see him as completely despicable, and refuse to cheer for such a scumbag. So for me, getting rid of him is No.1.
