Wow. So a guy who will have been a position coach his entire career except for a few games as an OC would become head coach?

Nothing personal against Los, but I suspect you knew the answer before you asked it... and then Los went and answered the rhetorical question incorrectly.
It would be imperative for Ryan to have a veteran offensive coaching group around him. An OC job calling plays would be a huge step up from what he has done before. If the Browns go with a young up and comer, that guy would have to create a good rapport with Hue. They shouldn't be looking for a future interim HC... Williams or Saunders would likely take that gig.
