What about Luol Deng?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: what about loul deng?

I won't throw this possibility out of the window so fast. Loul Deng is just the same a parker but a better mid-range shooter and just as good as parker on the defensive side. I don't know but he might just be the same a AP. I don't think we so should trade at the 2 position unless we are making a MAJOR upgrade.

Re: What about loul deng?

First, Luol is a 6'9" SF...he is not a SG. Second, there are no reports of availability...so its a pipe dream. As of now....

He has been playing a lot of PF. I don't know how much the organization wants him gone, but the city has given up on him. It would help them get something in 2010 I guess. He is actually having a pretty good year 17 7 and 2. He is shooting 40% from 3 and 46 overall. Personally, I think he is way more valuable than people in Chicago think. This is an article from October that suggests he would be available for expirings.

I like Deng a lot. Good kid, pretty good player, and would be an excellent fit for this team. There's just no logical way we could get him here.

If they weren't in the playoff bracket I wouldn't rule it out, so they could make a run at signing D-Wade in the summer.

The young suprise player I'm looking at is Iguodala. If both the Mavs and Rockets are having talks with Philly with them just basically giving them cap relief, that's an oppurtunity staring the Cavs in the face. I'd take on Dalembert or Brand's contract in a second if we got Iggy.

I was just comparing Deng to Rashard Lewis. Lewis is basically worse in every category even last year.

I watched the Boston vs Chicago game and i could not believe how underrated Deng was. He was making Pierce look like a fool. He plays like a SG but he is 6'9. I have no idea how we could make this work but this kid is solid.

Starting Line-up: Mo,Deng,Bron,Andy,Shaq
