Suppose we deal to pick up Tyson and Posey for Ben and Sasha and then pick up Charlie V off of the MLE. What are the flaws with those moves this offseason?

None. I'd be thrilled. Posey would be the lengthy guard we need to guard the Hedo's of the NBA, Tyson would be the defensive big that we need, and Vilanueva would be the PF we need to help spread the floor even more for LeBron. I would call it a successful offseason if this were to happen.

If that's your idea of a successful off-season, great. Just make sure that they stay healthy, or it'll look like you signed Larry Hughes to a contract again (Tyson), Donyell too (Posey), and the more volatile version of Damon Jones (Charlie).
Despite that, you still see Delonte as the starting shooting guard because the swingman you got was a little older than needed. So hope that we either get a draft pick that replaces Delonte as a starter (and thus make him the point guard off the bench), or a drafted point guard that backs up Delonte.
Then, it might be a good off-season, as long as the guys aren't trouble-makers or hurt...

What he meant was a superstar being available for just worthless expirings...
That happened in the middle of the season (2007-2008), but could still be categorized as "off-season" (before the Lakers really got underway that year because of Bynum's injury), because of getting their team together.
We're just not lucky to get that right now (The GM of the Grizzlies must be a stupid fucking shit for doing this back then...)...
