Due Diligence relatred to Heath's rumored trade for T-Mac. While we could trade hughes and Drew for t-mac on paper (salaries match) that is about the only thing that does match about that trade. T-mac is hurt. He is ball centric, and he does not fit the needs of the team (PG/PF).
A better houston trade might be James, Battier and Scola for hughes/drew.
A lot of people have wondered openly about Larry's market value and it is limited by the rumours. However I think some teams would seriously consider a trade, because they have no better options and need to make a change. Houston is in that catgory, as is New York, and Chicago. I wonder if Memphis might not also be in that state sooner than later.
Personally I like the New York scenario's better because they have some of the players we might be able to actually use. For example Hughes Drew for Robinson, Lee and Starbucks might actually make sense. Before everybody takes a crap on me, look at last years defensive numbers and you can see they know how to play defense, they just arent playing this year. If Starbucks doesn't want a ring, let him sit where Larry is, and just play Robinson and Lee. Those two alone will be better than hughes and Gooden are right now. At least Robinson knows how to throw a punch, which is something the cavs team needs to know how to do..
